| 説明 | Superficially similar to Poa pratensis (Kentucky bluegrass) but with a conspicuous bunched habit, basal leaves that tend to be less than 15 cm long, florets that are typically about 3-4 mm long and glabrous (e.g., no cobwebby hairs), and leaf sheaths that are distinctly hairy (possibly just barely visible but different from the green glabrous leaf sheaths of Poa pratensis). Poa wheeleri is dioecious but the spikelets are not dimorphic so this aspect of the species is not readily detected. |
