| 説明 | I took several pictures of this area, and all of them turned out hopelessly blurry, so this will have to do. Saar's put in an inline customer service counter here, as well as taking the pizza counter space. I think this may have been where customer service was originally located, prior to the late-2000s remodel, but I'm not entirely sure.As the title implies, I'm quite happy (and surprised) to see something in this space again. In fact, this is seriously the first time in my entire life that Port Angeles hasn't had any major retail vacancies, with Saar's opening in the old Albertsons and a woodworking shop under construction in the old Walmart (and a new Walmart where the Kmart once was -- that one closed before I was born -- and a local natural foods store in the old Gottschalks, and...). Downtown, on the other hand, still isn't doing so great, but it's much better than it was a few years ago when I moved away. |
