| 説明 | The famous pink building has long been known as the Laguna Hotel or Laguna Beach Hotel, or in some instances, simply the "hotel." For many years, this was about the only place to stay in Laguna. Then, twenty or thiry years ago, Vacation Village opened on the beach and the boom began. Concrete changed the nature of this once and long ago "sleepy little town of artists." Once the 60s arrived, Laguna began changing rapidly. It became the place for artists; it was the center of all art in California with the exception of San Francisco's North Beach area. Today, the pink building is still registering guests who will find the view of the city park and the beach most entertaining. If one has a lot of money and time to paint, go to Laguna and have a great time. There is always something happening in Laguna Beach. |
