説明 | At elevations below about 1600 m, Wyoming big sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata subsp. wyomingensis) begins to dominant and mountain big sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata subsp. vaseyana) and little sagebrush (Artemisia arbuscula) become less common to absent. At the same time, Bromus tectorum becomes more common at these lower elevation but this is mostly the case along and near roads. Except where caprock predominates, inspection of Wyoming big sagebrush steppe away from roadsides is essentially devoid of cheatgrass in the Jarbidge area. |
