| 説明 | Newport Railway remains. A fascinating group of survivors. Part of the Bolt Street loco depot and Works, started in 1857 and expanded in stages to 1897. Ten locos were built here between 1867 and 1875 and it seems to have been replaced by the new depot in 1920, although the coal stage was still standing in 1965 at least. To the left was the later Dock Street coal depot, which continued in use until 1991.
