| 説明 | Herbert was incredibly thoughtful about planning my one-day safari. He suggested going early to the spot where he knows about a young lion pride, to increase the chance of seeing them as the lions tend to hide once the sun moves higher in the sky.Lo and behold, the lions were right where he suspected. They seemed so casual there that I thought lions were a regular occurrence on safaris! It was only until a few days afterward, when my boss asked me what I saw on my safari. I rattled off a list: "Kobs, elephants, many birds, lions--""--You saw lions??!" Then she told me in her years of working in Uganda she has never seen a lion. AND THEN I was finally, truly astonished by what I saw!! |
