| 説明 | Artemisia tridentata subsp. vaseyana predominates the sagebrush steppe in this region near Avon, Montana. The developing inflorescences arising from a "flat top" shrub is suggestive of mountain big sagebrush steppe. Although a productive spring and summer, relatively little native bunchgrass and herb cover occurs in this patch, suggesting a history of intensive grazing. Regardless, no cheatgrass occurs in the sagebrush steppe of this area even though it is common roadside. |
