| 説明 | Stipa richardsonii is a common bunchgrass in this region including in the sagebrush steppe, prairie, and open and closed understory of Ponderosa and other pine species. The open panicles with drooping or pendent spikelets are distinguishing of this needlegrass. The pendent nature of the spikelets manifests itself more so as the fruits begins to mature by middle to late summer. |
