| 説明 | We hosted a private party for friends and neighbors to come see our Pataphysical Slot Machine in Mill Valley on Saturday, May 28th. We socialized and talked of many things … and also had ongoing demonstrations of our unique art exhibit - where surrealism meets the maker culture. Our guests asked our poetic oracle for instructions from the future — and opened our many magical wonderboxes. They also learned more about ‘Pataphysics, the “science of imaginary solutions” that inspired the dada and surrealism movements. Everyone seemed to enjoy their experience, as these photos suggest. Our guests played along with us and let their imaginations guide them into our magical worlds. The mojo was flowing freely all around the slot machine and into the garden, where we took turns toasting ‘pataphysics and creativity. Many thanks to Drs. Figurine, Canard and their family for so graciously hosting this event in their home. Kudos as well to Drs. Rindbrain, Skidz, Heatshrink and Zboon for helping prepare for this event. And tip of the hat to the mellifluous Judy Hall for her lovely piano music. We’re very lucky to have such a creative and supportive community.
