| 説明 | A project I started after Lego released the Tie-fighter set 9492 in 2012. Unsatisfied how Lego designed this TIE-Figher, I decided to design my own.My main goal was to make the wings as movie accurate as possible. The solar panels had to have ridges and alined as in the movie models. Off-course they couldn't be heavy. The Tie-fighter still had to be 'playable' and to have the 'swoosh' factor. So the cockpit had to hold the wings. The support beams between the cockpit and wings was another challenge to make movie accurate and hold the wings. Especially with the curved wedges against the cockpit I had to be creative after a lot of trail and errors.At first I was happy with the 'new' window for the Tie of the 9492 set. Everything was better then the old windows. But after a while I began to despise it. Luckily Lego released a new window type in 2015 with their set 75082. I decided to remake every TIE-Fighter with this design.First to continue and finish this TIE-Fighter I was working of and on for the last couple of years.Finally after lot of optimising I finished the TIE just before the end of 2017. |
