| 説明 | This weekend my girlfriend and I hiked the 3.6-mile trail to Lake Serene, near Index, Washington. It was drizzling and misty, and the sweat-soaked cotten tee-shirt I wore felt frigid after passing the crest allowed snow-chilled wind unabated access to my tired body. She is in much better shape than me.I've never tasted air so crisp, nor smelled vegetation so sweet. I've never been inspired such, and frozen in awe: incapable of thought, yet undeniably aware. Enlightenment? Perhaps. Certainly my short list of divine landscapes has grown recently.View On Black |
