| 説明 | U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District personnel hosted STEM Essay Contest winners from Wiesbaden Middle Schools, the district’s education outreach partner, May 13 in Wiesbaden, Germany. The winners from grades 6-8 took part in a day of hands-on activities, presentations, a mock ribbon-cutting ceremony and a site visit to the Wiesbaden High School construction project. The boys were selected as winners out of more than 180 students who competed in the essay contest. In the essays, each student successfully explained why he is interested in science, technology, engineering and math fields of study and career paths.
