| 説明 | North Carolina National Guard leaders, Army Brig. Gen. Kenneth A. Beard and Air Force Maj. Gen. D. Todd Kelly welcome dozens of North Carolina State University Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) cadets into the profession of Arms at a commissioning ceremony at the McKimmon Center, in Raleigh, N.C., May 6, 2016. The commissioning ceremonies marked the promotion of the former cadets and college students to the rank of Second Lieutenant, beginning their careers as officers and leaders in the U.S. Military. “You will not forget this, it is truly an honor,” said Kelly, the Air National Guard assistant to the commander, Air Mobility Command and a NCSU Air Force ROTC alumni, at the Air Force ROTC Spring Commissioning Ceremony. It was also a homecoming for Beard, a 1984 NCSU Army ROTC graduate and currently the NCNG assistant adjutant general – Army. “It is a privilege to be here,” said Beard at the NCSU Army ROTC Spring Commissioning Ceremony.
