| 説明 | Ilise, Sue, and I took a walk around Cernobbio in order to stay awake to beat jet lag. Not much in the town to do (except get some cheap and good gelato), but did I mention it's quaint and charming and so on?----------------------------------------------------------------------TRAVEL DIARY, PAGES 9-11:FRIDAY, JUNE 22, 2001[Sue] 5:22pm - We took a walk through downtown Cernobbio, which was very cute but not terribly exciting. We're back in the room now after having a strong drink at the pool. I need to steam my dress before the rehearsal dinner tonight.Lake Como is definitely a relaxing destination. I don't think we're quite in relaxed mode yet, but I'm getting there!Our room is gorgeous. Beautifully decorated with a sitting room, walk-in closet, and a huge marble bathroom with bidet, toilet, and jacuzzi tub. This place is so luxurious, it's decadent! |
