説明 | William (Will) Black was born in Harlowe in 1867. He married Ellenor Miller who was born in 1880 and died in 1916. They had four daughters and two sons. Will worked in the logging business until his wife died. He then opened a blacksmith shop in Harlowe. He shod horses for the local farmers and loggers and made tools for their use as well as his own such as the hoof pick pictured on the next image. Will had a massive stroke in 1946 that ended his career. He died in February 1949 and was buried in the Harlowe United Church Cemetery.
