| 説明 | I bought this flag around 2001 from Capitol Flags in Houston. They sold it to me at a very low price, as they had an excess of these beautifully sewn, embroidered cotton flags, which they had originally bought in 1976 for the US Bicentennial Celebration. At the time of this photograph, this flag is over thirty years old. I want to keep it in good shape as long as possible, so I display it only on good-weather days, and no more than twice a year--Flag Day and Independence Day.Keep in mind that this flag dates back only to 1777. If you want to celebrate American Independence Day (July 4, 1776), it's more historical to use an illustration of the Grand Union flag, the closest thing to an "official" flag of that time. |
