| 説明 | Marijin Dvor castle in Lužnica was first mentioned in 1673. The present one-storey, three-winged Baroque castle was constructed at the beginning of the 18th century. The first owners were the Čikulini family. The life of Julio Čikulini, who settled in Lužnica, is an incredible story of success. He got rich as the manager of the Zrinski estate in Primorje, but feuded with the Zrinski family because of that and was banished. After he had moved to Lužnica in 1612, the crafty estate manager soon gathered his fortune again, bought a large portion of the former nobleman's estate of Susedgrad and Stubica, rising to the ranks of high nobility. |
