説明 | The coffee pack design is inspired on Irma's coffee roasting plant, one of the most interesting buildings of the Irma company. The convenience store was founded in 1886 by Carl Schepler, who stood behind the Ravnsborg Milk Supply counter in Copenhagen. In 1903, the second shop opened and then things took off. Architects Thorkel Klerk and Bent Mackeprang acted as resident architects for Irma for years. They designed and modernised the chain of shops, their furniture and design. One of their most interesting buildings is Irma's coffee roasting plant from 1968, which consists of a tower with a silo behind a glass house. The entire production process is visible from outside. Irma's trademark, the Rødovre coffee roasting plant, was closed in 1986 and production was moved to FDB's roasting premises in Albertslund.
