The loco had run light to Washwood Heath earlier in the day, with the return journey conveying two 'translator' vehicles - 6376 and 6377. These translator vehicles are normally used when locomotives are needed to haul electric multiple units. They have a locomotive-compatible coupling at one end, and EMU compatible coupling at the other. |
