| 説明 | People from Gas-field free Communities around Victoria attended the steps of Parliament house on Spring Street on the first sitting day of 2016 (9 February 2016) to put the ban on onshore gas (CSG) and call for ambitious Victorian Renewable Energy Targets (VRET) on top of the political agenda. About 250 people turned up - which is good for a lunchtime rally. Speakers included Leigh Ewbank from the Yes to Renewables campaign, Gerard Deery, sheep farmer from East Gippsland, Wendy Farmer from the La Trobe Valley, Luke Hilakari, Secretary of the Victorian Trades Hall Council, Victorian Greens parliamentarians, Samantha Dunn and Ellen Sandell, Victoria’s first shadow minister for renewable energy, David Southwick, Chloe Aldenhoven, Friends of the Earth gasfield-free Vic campaign, and Matt Landolfo of Labor Environment Action Network, and Nicholas Aberle from Environment Victoria. |
