Their art revolves around plants - from huge flowers made from steel to small gold seedlings. For Huub and Adelheid, plants are a metaphor for people’s desire to grow and bloom. “Every human being has a deep desire to realize who they really are, deep down inside,” says Adelheid. After 45 years of being the silent partner, Adelheid thought, "This is a little strange.” So they rebranded themselves as the artistic duo, "Huub and Adelheid Kortekaas”. The short film, "The Golden Plant” is a portrait of these two artists, exploring changes in their personal relationship which reflects the message of their art. |
