| 説明 | In this section you find the made in Latvia Collection; manufacture of cars, motorcycles and bicyclesIn the early 20th century, Riga is the industrial capital of the Russian Empire: mechanical, metallurgical, chemical, rubber and electrical engineering is at a state-of-the-art level.No surprise, that the Russo-Baltic wagon factory in Riga began the country’s first vehicle production in 1908. The Riga Motor Museum offers an opportunity to view one of two legendary Russo-Balt cars, which has survived to the modern day.The 1930s automobile, freight and passenger cars Ford-Vairogs continue the story of Latvian Automotive history. Of nearly two thousand assembled vehicles in Latvia, only a few survive to this day, and two such passenger cars are in the Museum's exposition.The Riga Bus Factory (RAF) produced Soviet time minibuses were well known throughout Eastern Europe. The Museum presents various RAF models, but visitors are given the opportunity to create their own legendary minibus designs. |
