| 説明 | The sign reads:"The area immediately in front of you is wetland. The base of the Symphony Lift was redesigned uphill of this sensitive ecosystem. Wetlands purify water and offer the greatest diversity of habitat.Sub alpine wetlands are part of the summer range for Black bears and Coastal Mountain black tailed deer. Both species are abundant in this area.In winter the deer will migrate to lower elevations while a number of bears remain in the area. Unlike the deer that attempt to get out of the snow the bear prefer large snow packs which provide excellent insulation for their dens located nearby in large old growth trees." |
