| 説明 | CAMP ZAMA, Japan - After 29 years of service, Army Master Sgt. John W. Gaines, chief paralegal noncommissioned officer, U.S. Army Japan (USARJ), fittingly hosts his retirement at his Command's courtroom in USARJ Headquarters at Camp Zama, Japan, Dec. 29, 2016. USARJ awarded Gaines the Legion of Merit for his faithful service and exemplary leadership. His wife, Aya, received a certificate of appreciation for her unwavering support during her husbands many assignments and several deployments. Gaines plans to stay in Japan to teach English and support his aging mother- and father-in-law.
