| 説明 | Near the end of our tour of Taliesin West, thankful to have seen so much.Wright’s third wife, Olgivanna, thought the dragon fountain should breathe fire. So thanks to a gas line, the dragon spits fire at night and on special occasions. The Japanese dragon was a 1959 Christmas gift to the Wrights from Wright’s San Francisco associate Green.Wright was a leader of the Prairie School movement of architecture. His creative period spanned more than 70 years. Open to the public for tours, Taliesin West is located on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA. The complex drew its name from Wright's summer home, Taliesin, in Spring Green, Wisconsin. |
