| 説明 | one of a series of photos i took for a human figure class. i used a webcam and a video processing patch i created in eyesweb [eyesweb.org] to create the doubling effect in realtime. the model asked me to email her the shots which was pretty cool.i asked the model specifically to stand for this shot, and placed the webcam up on the ladder you see in some of the other shots.i wanted to see the subtle movements she would make due to standing .. but she was such a good model that she reamined still as a rock. i was very impressed.the other idea in this shot was to frame her as a caryatid like the ones i saw in greece when i was younger. the top of the frame she is supporting like a roof, and she stands at the bottom of the frame.i suppose that 'caryatid' should be an alternate title. |
