| 説明 | The Rotes Rathaus or "red town hall" is the official town hall of Berlin.It was built between 1861 and 1869 in the style of the north Italian High Renaissance, but was heavily damaged by Allied bombing in World War II. Located in the Soviet sector, it served as the town hall of East Berlin - after its reconstruction during the 1950s to the original plans. After German reunification the administration of unified Berlin officially moved to the Rotes Rathaus in 1991. |
