| 説明 | This is the excellent Wake Up Hostel on Railway Square, near Central Station, Sydney. The building started life in about 1905 as a department store operated by Marcus Clark & Co and was known as 'The Hub'. It was designed by John Nangle and, for a few years, was Sydney's tallest building. It later became a theatre and has now become the iconic Wake Up Hostel where Pauline and I stayed for a few days in February and March 2008.On 29 February we joined a group of about 15 of the hostel guests for a coastal walk from Coogee Beach to Bondi Beach. We left the hostel at 11.00 am and caught a bus to Coogee. If you're not there already, go here to see some of the photos I took during the walk |
