説明 | I used my Panasonic DMC-GH4's built-in time-lapse mode to shoot 788 RAW images at 5-second intervals, each exposed for 4 seconds & f/2.5 at ISO 400, with an Olympus 12mm f/2.0 lens, then assemble them into a video using 10 images per second. That compressed about 66 minutes of shooting down to a minute & 19 seconds. This was all done automatically, in camera. All I had to do was set the exposure, interval, & number of shots I wanted (I ended stopping the shoot early), then selecting from half a dozen or so frame rate options to create the video. I was shooting in an easterly direction, a bit west of Yellow Springs, Ohio. It's best watched on a large screen in a very dark room. I didn't see any of the Taurid meteor fireballs during that time, but I did see the clouds move out to the north, followed by fog rolling in, followed by the moon rising behind a tree. |
