| 説明 | TOKYO - Hundreds of Japanese, Korean and American service members joined thousands of Japanese citizens to see song, music and dance unfold at the Nippon Budokan arena in Tokyo Nov. 14, 2015, during the Japan Self-Defense Force (JSDF) Marching Festival. The three-day festival featured dozens of musical groups from the JSDF as well as several bands from the Korean and American armed forces. The size, scope and style of each performance hit every string on the musical spectrum as scores of musicians, singers, dancers and drill teams entertained the tens of thousands in attendance with popular folk, pop, rock, classical and instrumental songs from their respective countries.Army Maj. Gen. James F. Pasquarette, commanding general, U.S. Army Japan (USARJ), and other senior leaders from USARJ joined JGSDF Gen. Kiyofumi Iwata, chief of staff, JGSDF, and his senior staff to watch the performance and congratulate the participants. Pasquarette as well as Army Col. Stephen J. Grabski, deputy commander, USARJ and Army Command Sgt. Maj. Eric C. Dostie, command sergeant major, dropped by the performers' waiting rooms to personally give their best wishes to the scores USARJ Band members who rehearsed for several months in preparation for playing in all seven of the festival's performances.Photo by Sgt.
