| 説明 | The whole exhibit has a "you know what this is about" air to it, as in, letthe tender viewer beware. But there was a special warning reserved for aseparate chamber wherein reclined this nude woman, who passed away takingher fetus with her. At first I was irritated by the sort of sexistsqueamishness that can't regard reproduction in the context of the otherexhibits on our phyical form. Then I wondered if the mother and child dead,flayed open, on display, was more tragic than the previous forms - moretragic, harder to stomach. Finally I decided it was a form of goddessworship to place this mother-to-be, glamorous, in a separate space forselective viewing. |
