| 説明 | 250 people gathered at the KKL-JNF “Living Memorial” in the Arazim Valley near Jerusalem for the annual American Embassy and Keren Kayemet L’Israel – Jewish National Fund commemoration of the 9/11 terror attacks. Young Israelis and Americans joined more than 30 diplomats, representatives of terror victim support groups, municipal and government representatives, and Israeli police and firefighters for the event. This year’s event marked a first-time cooperation with the U.S. National 9/11 Memorial and Museum. Ambassador Shapiro described the museum’s “special emphasis on individual victims and their life stories recalls the spirit of Zelda Schneurson's famous poem "l'kol ish yesh shem" -- every person has a name." |
