| 説明 | Monton Mill, built in 1905 as a cotton spinning mill was one of the last to be built in the South Lancashire area. Despite being next to a railway line, it was deliberately sited adjacent to the Bridgewater Canal, still a main transport artery at the time. The mill has since been demolished. |
