| 説明 | One day when we were driving on a side road near the wine/fruit region, I pulled over on a whim to a little cafe. It was our favorite meal in NZ, and one of the best lunches I've ever had. I had this crazy good pizza with veggies and "tasty" cheese, Erin got polenta and we split some asparagus.Usually we'd scavenge lunches by dipping grocery store-baked bread into hummus or pesto, supplement with fruit and nuts, and call it a lunch. This had been getting old over the previous five weeks, so we decided to start eating out for lunches.This cafe was our first stop, and it was only downhill from there. The cafe is just a little side project of a vineyard, and was nestled in some beautiful hills. Other than that, we've not been too impressed with Kiwi food. Expensive, greasy, meaty and unimaginative. I miss "tasty" cheese already... |
