| 説明 | A mixed flock that is mostly Western Gulls Larus occidentalis, of various ages. (I see plumages [in the full-size version] from first-year through adult...) I say "mixed flock" as there may be some Heermann's Gulls Larus heermanni in the mix (hard to say, at this distance...) and there are definitely two Willits Tringa semipalmata (formerly known as Catoptrophorus semipalmatus) on the right (north) edge of the flock. Taken from the Mexican side of the border at La Playa di Tijuana across the border into Border Field State Park in San Diego County, CA. Taken by a Nikon D610 at ISO 400 with a Nikkor 35-105mm ƒ 3.5-4.5 AF lens (at 105) (the only lens I had on me...) |
