| 説明 | The 1937-40 Ford passenger cars got a more rounded body. The tear drop headlamps were integrated into the front fenders.New for 1940, was these light duty car based pickups with Standard Series passenger car front sheet metal and passenger car chassis, rated at 1/2 ton, the first time since 1932 that pickups shared car styling. In contrast, Sedan Deliveries carried the styling of the Deluxe Series with slated 'gills' flanking a horizontal-bar grilleIn 1941, the Sedans got a new body, but with the 1941 1/2 ton pickup, it was still the 1940 shape. The only difference, the 1941 pickup got a wider chrome garnish running down the nose of the hood.Engines; 60hp 136 cu in, 90hp 221 cu in or 95hp 239 cu in Flathead V8s. (139 cu in V8 replaced by 120 cu in 4 cyl mid year) |
