| 説明 | I went out to shoot the Perseid Meteor shower somewhere a few miles out of Millersburg, OH in Amish country. I hadn't planned a specific location to shoot, so just drove out of town looking for a dark place where I could safely get off the road and not be in someone's driveway - ideally, a public park. That turned out to be much easier said than done! I finally found a large gravel area and pulled off. I was amazed at how much traffic there was! Also, there was more light pollution than I expected, and a fair amount of haze. I DID see three Earth grazers, but can't find any of them on either camera I was using. The first one was before I had either camera set up. :-( So, the most interesting thing I DID capture on camera was an airplane flying through the cup of the Big Dipper. You'll need to view it in a fairly dark area, preferrably on a large screen. |
