| 説明 | 5Dmk2, 100mm lens at F2.8, 52 x 120sec, Astrotrac.A crop from the Antares & Rho Ophiuchus Region image to show more detail. The image contains three globular clusters, bright blue reflection nebula, a faint red emission nebula (the unmodified SLR is not ideal for this) and a orange reflection nebula around and above the red star Antares. Orange reflection nebula are rare - usually reflection nebula are blue because blue light scatters more strongly then red. However, since Antares is illuminating this nebula, and it has little or no blue light, it results in an orange reflection nebula. The nebula was formed by the material lost by Antares. |
