| 説明 | CAMP ZAMA, Japan – Army Sgt. Maj. Lloyd Dabydeen, senior enlisted advisor, Army Reserve Engagement Team (ARET), received the Legion of Merit during an award ceremony Aug. 6, 2015, at Camp Zama, Japan. Attended by dozens of Soldiers, government contractors and Department of Defense civilians, the ceremony recognized Dabydeen's contribution in enhancing U.S. Army Japan's readiness through the meticulous management of complex programs that reinforced USARJ's active duty elements with qualified Army Reserve Soldiers. These Reserve Soldiers serve throughout USARJ's area of responsibility from several weeks to many months as they apply their military and civilian employment experience to enhancing USARJ's readiness and partnerships. “None of this would have been possible without your support,” said Dabydeen, gesturing to his guests. “I'm honored to accept this award, but the credit belongs everyone … it's a team effort."Dabydeen assumed his position as ARET's senior enlisted advisor in November 2010. He will soon transfer authority to his replacement as he prepares for his permanent change of station to Mountain View, Calif., to serve as the G1 (personnel) sergeant major for the 351st Civil Affairs Command.Photos by Sgt.
