| 説明 | Corporate, state and local government, non-profit and military leaders gather at North Carolina for Military Employment’s (NC4ME) Military Employment Summit hosted by MetLife and CISCO Systems at the Metlife campus, in Cary, N.C., Aug. 18, 2015. Their mission? Hiring service members and veterans. “We want to be number one in hiring veterans,” said Kimberly Lindsay, executive director NC4ME. Army Brig. Gen. Kenneth Beard, North Carolina National Guard assistant adjutant general of sustainment stressed to the senior business professionals, human resource and staffing experts the benefit of hiring Guard members. “When they hit the ground they bring leadership,” said Beard. The event is part of a public-private partnership with the North Carolina Chamber and North Carolina Veterans Foundation encouraging businesses to seek military employees as part of an overall hiring strategy.
