| 説明 | 1948 was the first of the F Series trucks. From 1948 to 1950, the grille was a series of horizontal bars. There were very few changes during these years, In 1948, wheels were black, grille bars were chrome up to July, then argent with red pinstriping. From 1949, the pinstriping was gone and wheels were now body colour. 1950 saw no real visual changes, gear change from floor to steering column, a substantial facelift in 1951. Now there were 8 models to choose from, starting with the 1/2 ton F-1, then 3/4 ton F-2 (heavy duty F-3), 1 ton F-4, 1 1/2 ton F-5, 2 ton F-6, 2 1/2 ton F-7 and 3 ton F-8.The early F-Series were marketed as Ford Freighter in Australia, the local division not adopting the F-Series nomenclature until 1956.Engines; 145hp 337 cu in Flathead V8 |
