Zoma Kongo, director of Operations, TPDF, receive a briefing about combat trauma training at the Medical Simulation Training Center during a visit at the 7th Army Joint Multinational Training Command's Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, July 9. U.S. Army Africa's Maj. Gen. Darryl A. Williams (center) accompanied the Tanzanian generals as part of a Command Sponsored Visit coordinated by USARAF on behalf of the U.S. Army. CSVs bring together senior land force commanders from nations around the world to discuss mutual security concerns and to increase interoperability. USARAF hosted the annual Gender Mainstreaming Seminar in Tanzania in May of this year and will conduct the African Land Forces Summit and the Eastern Accord 16 exercise in Tanzania next year.
