| 説明 | I live in what is referred to (disparagingly by people who don't live here) as the "leafy suburbs". This shot is taken past the side of a bus stop near my house, looking across a very busy 4-lane feeder road (almost a highway). A gap appeared, I clicked.During this journey the other day on the bus to work, it was like I noticed all this greenery for the first time. "Revelation" is too strong a word, but it was a strange "fresh" feeling all of a sudden.Bright flowers of jacaranda, flame trees and bougainvillea lept out at me from everywhere. There are literally hundreds of jacaranda trees visible from my bus on the 45 minute commute, all of them dripping bright purple flowers everywhere.geotagged |
