| 説明 | Wherever I go in the City of Chicago, public and private schools are fortresses, with metal detectors and burly security guards who treat every visitor like an intruder.I know, it's a different day and they have to be a lot more careful now, but I'm glad I never had to attend school under those conditions. And somehow, I learned how to write without computer labs, iPads or (hearty belly laugh) air-conditioned classrooms.And kids, unless you are an algebra instructor, you will never, ever use algebra. Just sayin'.As a side note, I would have killed to go to a beautiful old school like this, the kind that so many parents want torn down and replaced with something "new". |
