| 説明 | On May 13 and 14, over 380 Romanian and American soldiers participated in a 400 kilometer march across Romania, to kick off multinational exercise Sarmis15 in Cincu, Brasov County, part of the Operation Atlantic Resolve – South. The 90 Stryker vehicles were escorted by Black Hawks, AH-64 helicopters and A-10 Thunderbolts. On May 13, Cavalry March stopped in Ploiesti to set up displays of the combat vehicles in a shopping center parking lot. In the afternoon of May 14, soldiers participated in a wreath laying ceremony in Sinaia, and visited Peles Castle. Later that day, a large crowd endured heavy rain to welcome Cavalry March to Brasov, the final stop before arriving at the Cincu Training Area. (Lucian Crusoveanu / Public Diplomacy Office) |
