| 説明 | GULF OF ADEN (April 28, 2015) - Lieutenant Commander Janice Pollard, center, commanding officer of mine countermeasures ship USS Sentry (MCM-3) briefs Marines with Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and sailors, on standard operating procedures for their joint Small Caliber Action Team prior to transiting through the Strait of Bab-el-Mandeb, April 28, 2015. Marines from the 24th MEU provided additional SCAT capabilities to the USS Sentry (MCM-3) for their strait transit. The 24th MEU is embarked on the ships of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group and is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet Area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
