View from the eastern entrance to Colonnade, a cobbled alleyway running between Grenville Street and Herbrand Street.These mews were originally stables at the rear of Bernard Street and Guilford Street. Carriages were kept at ground level with living quarters above. Most of the mews buildings now seem to be residential. Some are apparently sought after and selling at premium prices. _______The redbrick building with a black roof, visible at the far end of the mews, is the rear of the Hotel Russell in Herband Street.
