Mark Palmateer, who was Killed in Action in Logar Province Afghanistan on June 26, 2008 while serving with the 2nd Squadron 101st Cavalry, receives an award from 69th Commander Lt. Col. Sean Flynn during a Sunday, March 15 event at which The American Fallen Soldiers Project presented a protrait for Palmateer to the family.
