説明 | Address/Title: 725 North Second StreetPhotographer: Zehmer, John G. (John Granderson), 1942-Original Description (from Book): One of the oldest houses to survive in Jackson Ward, this house was built in 1827-1828. In 1895 it was made part of the funeral parlor of Arthur Hayes, a black undertaker. The steep roof and small windows are original, but the stucco covering and diamond shaped panes appear to date from the turn-of-the-century.City/Location: Richmond (Va.)Date of photograph: ca. 1978Map URL: maps.google.com/maps?q=37.548369,+-77.436131Original Publication: Zehmer, John G., and Robert P.
