| 説明 | ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. (April 13, 2015) -- Four Soldiers are vying to be named the 2015 Noncommissioned Officer of the Year for the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command. On a sunny and cool morning, 18 RDECOM Soldiers convened at APG to begin the competition. They will test their physical fitness, endurance, technical aptitude and reasoning skills April 13-15. The tasks will assess the Soldiers' physical and mental abilities: Army Physical Fitness Test, land-navigation course at APG's Lauderick Creek Training Site, perform a function check on a M249 machine gun, obstacle course, weapons qualification with the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000 at Gunpowder Military Reservation, essay, written exam and board appearance before RDECOM's sergeants major.Read more:www.army.mil/article/146349 |
